Special category prizes for the 7th edition

With over 430 applicants, the seventh edition of the European Startup Prize for Mobility showcases the breadth of innovation shaping the future of transport. Alongside the Top 10, ten special prize categories recognise ventures addressing specific challenges across the mobility ecosystem.

Presented with our partners, these distinctions bring together perspectives from industry, research, public institutions and the climate community. They celebrate innovation in road safety, rail, river and maritime mobility, alongside achievements in software, climate impact and future mobility. They also highlight women entrepreneurs, academic ventures and the challenge of bringing promising technologies to scale.

Together, this year’s special prizes tell a broader story: progress in mobility happens well beyond the vehicle itself. It depends on how we produce energy, plan infrastructure, coordinate operations and make journeys safer and more accessible.

Discover this year’s special prize winners below, explore their solutions and meet the partners behind each distinction.
